From the Episcopal and Lutheran Churches

God's Mission in the World is an awesome

From Episcopal Relief and Development

Episcopal Relief and Development has created two curricula for use with youth.  One series is entitled Act Out. This document describes the series.  Here are links to specific units:

     Act Out Malaria

Act Out Clean Water (and here is a camping version)

The other is the Abundant Life Garden Project.  This is a children's curriculum offered to parishes, teachers, groups, families and others who seek to share the ministry and work of Episcopal Relief and Development with elementary-age children. This resource is a very flexible, low-cost program that can be implemented by any Episcopal parish, no matter its budget or resources.  Here is an introduction to the series--and some teaching tips.

     Session 1 is about water.

     Session 2 is on seeds.

     Session 3 is about soil.

     Session 4 is on animals.

Session 5 is about the harvest.

If you would like to extend the series, here are instructions.  The session bibliography is here.
